88 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
99 SECTION 1. Section 375.115(c), Local Government Code, is
1010 amended to read as follows:
1111 (c) Written notice containing the information required by
1212 Subsection (b) shall be mailed by certified mail, return receipt
1313 requested, or by another method determined by the board to provide
1414 adequate proof that the notice was timely mailed, not later than the
1515 30th day before the date of the hearing. The notice shall be mailed
1616 to each property owner in the district who will be subject to
1717 assessment at the current address of the property to be assessed as
1818 reflected on the tax rolls.
1919 SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2009.
