5	5	WHEREAS, Friends and family are mourning the loss of Robert
6	6	Brownfield of Paris, Texas, who passed away on March 24, 2009, at
7	7	the age of 60; and
8	8	WHEREAS, Born on October 3, 1948, to T. J. and Doris Barron
9	9	Brownfield in Whitewright, Robert Brownfield established a career
10	10	at Campbell Soup Company that spanned three decades; he was a member
11	11	of the Elks Lodge, where he held several offices, including Exalted
12	12	Ruler, and he also served as a cook at the lodge for many years; and
13	13	WHEREAS, He and his wife, Patsy, shared 18 rewarding years of
14	14	matrimony, and the couple raised a family that grew to include 5
15	15	children, Wayne, Byron, Jerry, Tammy, and Robin, as well as 10
16	16	grandchildren and a great-grandchild; and
17	17	WHEREAS, Robert Brownfield lived a caring and purposeful
18	18	life, and those fortunate enough to have shared in his love and
19	19	friendship will forever treasure their memories of him; now,
20	20	therefore, be it
21	21	RESOLVED, That the 81st Legislature of the State of Texas
22	22	hereby pay tribute to the life of Robert Brownfield and extend
23	23	sincere sympathy to the members of his family: to his wife, Patsy
24	24	Brownfield; to his children, Wayne Brownfield and his wife, Sharri,
25	25	Byron Long and his wife, Sherry, Jerry Long, Tammy Daniels and her
26	26	husband, Rodney, and Robin Malone and her husband, Craig; to his
27	27	grandchildren, Jaythan Brownfield, Dylan Long, Justin Rosson,
28	28	Chance Johnson, Aaron McMikel, Emily Brownfield, Angelika Summers,
29	29	Jacqueline Summers, Kayla Daniels, and Misty Daniels; to his
30	30	great-grandson, Malachi McCool; to his parents, T. J. and Doris
31	31	Barron Brownfield; to his siblings, Bobby Brownfield and his wife,
32	32	Sara, Dennis Brownfield and his wife, Cathy, Mark Brownfield and
33	33	his wife, Denise, Kay Williams and her husband, Chuck, and Mary
34	34	Rogers and her husband, Kyle; and to his other relatives and
35	35	friends; and, be it further
36	36	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
37	37	prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of
38	38	Representatives and Senate adjourn this day, they do so in memory of
39	39	Robert Brownfield.
