H.C.R. No. 233
HOUSE CONCURRENT RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, Elizabeth Radicioni has been named the Clear Creek
Independent School District 2008-2009 Secondary Teacher of the
Year; and
WHEREAS, The prestigious Teacher of the Year award is
presented to an educator who demonstrates an outstanding teaching
style and the ability to engage children, who is a leader on campus,
who collaborates well with coworkers, and who communicates
effectively with parents; and
WHEREAS, A language arts teacher at Victory Lakes
Intermediate School, Ms. Radicioni inspires a love of learning in
her students that places them on the path to a bright and rewarding
future; and
WHEREAS, Children are the Lone Star State's most precious
resource, and a quality education is vital in order for our young
people to become successful adults; Ms. Radicioni exemplifies the
qualities that make a truly great teacher, and she indeed merits
special recognition; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the 81st Legislature of the State of Texas
hereby congratulate Elizabeth Radicioni on being named the Clear
Creek Independent School District 2008-2009 Secondary Teacher of
the Year and extend to her best wishes for continued success; and,
be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Ms. Radicioni as an expression of high regard by the
Texas House of Representatives and Senate.
