44 HOUSE CONCURRENT RESOLUTION
55 WHEREAS, Dawn Gibler was named the Clear Creek Independent
66 School District 2008-2009 Elementary Teacher of the Year; and
77 WHEREAS, The prestigious Teacher of the Year award is
88 presented to an educator who demonstrates an outstanding teaching
99 style and the ability to engage children, who is a leader on campus,
1010 who collaborates well with coworkers, and who communicates
1111 effectively with parents; and
1212 WHEREAS, A fifth-grade teacher at P. H. Greene Elementary
1313 School, Ms. Gibler inspires a love of learning in her students that
1414 places them on the path to a bright and rewarding future; and
1515 WHEREAS, Children are the Lone Star State's most precious
1616 resource, and a quality education is vital in order for our young
1717 people to become successful adults; Ms. Gibler exemplifies the
1818 qualities that make a truly great teacher, and she indeed merits
1919 special recognition; now, therefore, be it
2020 RESOLVED, That the 81st Legislature of the State of Texas
2121 hereby congratulate Dawn Gibler on being named the Clear Creek
2222 Independent School District 2008-2009 Elementary Teacher of the
2323 Year and extend to her best wishes for continued success; and, be it
2424 further
2525 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
2626 prepared for Ms. Gibler as an expression of high regard by the Texas
2727 House of Representatives and Senate.
