| 5 | 5 | | WHEREAS, Dawn Gibler was named the Clear Creek Independent |

| 6 | 6 | | School District 2008-2009 Elementary Teacher of the Year; and |

| 7 | 7 | | WHEREAS, The prestigious Teacher of the Year award is |

| 8 | 8 | | presented to an educator who demonstrates an outstanding teaching |

| 9 | 9 | | style and the ability to engage children, who is a leader on campus, |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | who collaborates well with coworkers, and who communicates |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | effectively with parents; and |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | WHEREAS, A fifth-grade teacher at P. H. Greene Elementary |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | School, Ms. Gibler inspires a love of learning in her students that |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | places them on the path to a bright and rewarding future; and |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | WHEREAS, Children are the Lone Star State's most precious |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | resource, and a quality education is vital in order for our young |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | people to become successful adults; Ms. Gibler exemplifies the |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | qualities that make a truly great teacher, and she indeed merits |

| 19 | 19 | | special recognition; now, therefore, be it |

| 20 | 20 | | RESOLVED, That the 81st Legislature of the State of Texas |
