| 5 | 5 | | WHEREAS, Words cannot adequately express the sorrow felt at |

| 6 | 6 | | the untimely death of Willie Gray Sapp of Paris, Texas, who passed |

| 7 | 7 | | away on May 17, 2009, at the age of 23; and |

| 8 | 8 | | WHEREAS, Born on January 2, 1986, to Danny and Suzi Broadus |

| 9 | 9 | | Sapp in Danbury, North Carolina, Willie Sapp was a loving brother |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | and a treasured son and grandson; he worked as a bricklayer and was |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | a member of Emberson Baptist Church; and |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | WHEREAS, Although his time on this earth ended far too soon, |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | Willie Sapp brought much joy into the lives of his loved ones, and |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | he will forever be remembered with great tenderness and affection |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | by all those who held him dear; now, therefore, be it |

| 16 | 16 | | RESOLVED, That the 81st Legislature of the State of Texas |

| 17 | 17 | | hereby pay tribute to the memory of Willie Gray Sapp and extend |

| 18 | 18 | | sincere sympathy to the members of his family: to his father, Danny |

| 19 | 19 | | Sapp; to his mother, Suzi Broadus; to his brother, Jason Sapp; to |

| 20 | 20 | | his grandmother, Earlene Sapp; to his godparents, Gary and Carol |
