44 HOUSE CONCURRENT RESOLUTION
55 WHEREAS, Words cannot adequately express the sorrow felt at
66 the untimely death of Willie Gray Sapp of Paris, Texas, who passed
77 away on May 17, 2009, at the age of 23; and
88 WHEREAS, Born on January 2, 1986, to Danny and Suzi Broadus
99 Sapp in Danbury, North Carolina, Willie Sapp was a loving brother
1010 and a treasured son and grandson; he worked as a bricklayer and was
1111 a member of Emberson Baptist Church; and
1212 WHEREAS, Although his time on this earth ended far too soon,
1313 Willie Sapp brought much joy into the lives of his loved ones, and
1414 he will forever be remembered with great tenderness and affection
1515 by all those who held him dear; now, therefore, be it
1616 RESOLVED, That the 81st Legislature of the State of Texas
1717 hereby pay tribute to the memory of Willie Gray Sapp and extend
1818 sincere sympathy to the members of his family: to his father, Danny
1919 Sapp; to his mother, Suzi Broadus; to his brother, Jason Sapp; to
2020 his grandmother, Earlene Sapp; to his godparents, Gary and Carol
2121 McHone; to his aunts and uncles, Iris Gantt, Jackie Davis, Billy
2222 Gray and Tony Sapp, and Richard, Ray, and Bryant Broadus; to his
2323 great-aunt, Edna Booth; and to his other relatives and many
2424 friends; and, be it further
2525 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
2626 prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of
2727 Representatives and Senate adjourn this day, they do so in memory of
2828 Willie Sapp.
