| 5 | 5 | | WHEREAS, House Bill No. 2559 has been adopted by the house of |

| 6 | 6 | | representatives and the senate and has been enrolled; and |
|---|
| 7 | 7 | | WHEREAS, The bill contains a technical error that should be |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | corrected; now, therefore, be it |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | RESOLVED by the 81st Legislature of the State of Texas, That |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | the action of the speaker of the house of representatives and the |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | president of the senate in signing House Bill No. 2559 be declared |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | null and void and the signatures of the presiding officers be |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | removed from the bill; and, be it further |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | RESOLVED by the 81st Legislature of the State of Texas, That |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | the enrolling clerk of the house be instructed to re-enroll the bill |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | after making the following correction: |

| 17 | 17 | | Add the following appropriately numbered SECTION to the bill |

| 18 | 18 | | and renumber subsequent SECTIONS of the bill accordingly: |

| 20 | 20 | | EMPLOYEE PILOT PROGRAM. The Department of State Health Services |

| 22 | 22 | | interagency contract to establish a state employee pilot program |

| 23 | 23 | | consistent with federal guidelines for chronic disease prevention |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | and wellness initiatives. To support the pilot program the |
|---|
| 25 | 25 | | Department of State Health Services may use funds received from the |
|---|
| 26 | 26 | | American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (Pub. L. No. 111-5) |

| 27 | 27 | | or other such federal funds available to the Department of State |

| 28 | 28 | | Health Services. |
