| 5 | 5 | | WHEREAS, The Cougars football team of Reicher Catholic High |

| 6 | 6 | | School in Waco captured the Texas Association of Private and |

| 7 | 7 | | Parochial Schools Division 3 championship on December 6, 2008; and |

| 8 | 8 | | WHEREAS, This storied football program has now taken home |

| 9 | 9 | | eight state titles in its history, including back-to-back |

| 10 | 10 | | championship victories in 2007 and 2008; during the 2008 season, |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | the team lost its starting quarterback to injury for several games |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | and still managed to rack up 10 wins on the season, including two |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | shutouts and one 62-point triumph; and |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | WHEREAS, In their march to the state title, the Cougars |
