 R E S O L U T I O N
 WHEREAS, John Manlove Marketing and Communications of
 Pasadena, Texas, won 14 local Addy Awards at the 47th annual
 American Advertising Federation Houston awards gala on February 21,
 2009; and
 WHEREAS, The prestigious local and district Addy Awards are
 presented every year by AAF Houston for creative excellence in
 advertising; and
 WHEREAS, JMMC received two Gold awards, five Silver awards,
 and seven Citations of Excellence for its work in print and web
 design; the company's award-winning efforts consisted of work
 created for such clients as The Woodlands Development Company and
 the oil and gas service company, Cameron; the agency won two Gold
 awards and four other awards for Cameron: Discover Our World, a
 handsome hardcover book highlighting that company's international
 presence, including photographs taken in eight countries on four
 continents; and
 WHEREAS, Including this year's awards, JMMC has won a total
 of 50 local and district Addys over the past three years, including
 24 awards in 2007 and 12 awards in 2008; and
 WHEREAS, The staff of this dynamic company have earned great
 distinction for their creativity and skill, and they may indeed
 take great pride in receiving recognition from their peers; now,
 therefore, be it
 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas
 Legislature hereby congratulate John Manlove Marketing and
 Communications on winning 14 Addy Awards in 2009 and extend to the
 company's staff sincere best wishes for continued success; and, be
 it further
 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
 prepared for JMMC as an expression of high regard by the Texas House
 of Representatives.
