 R E S O L U T I O N
 WHEREAS, Jack Pippen of Dallas has been accepted as an
 honored scholar in the prestigious 2009 Junior National Young
 Leaders Conference in Washington, D.C.; and
 WHEREAS, The son of proud parents Patricia and John Pippen,
 Mr. Pippen is a sixth grade student at Lakehill Preparatory School,
 where he was recently named an outstanding leader by his
 classmates; and
 WHEREAS, The Junior National Young Leaders Conference is
 designed to educate, inspire, and motivate high-achieving middle
 school students from across the nation; attendees learn about
 leadership by studying leaders of the past and by focusing on social
 advocacy to make a positive impact in their communities; and
 WHEREAS, Earning an invitation to this important conference
 is a reflection of this fine young Texan's significant leadership
 potential and academic achievement, and he may take justifiable
 pride in being invited to take part in this exciting learning
 opportunity; now, therefore, be it
 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas
 Legislature hereby congratulate Jack Pippen on being accepted as an
 honored scholar in the Junior National Young Leaders Conference and
 extend to him sincere best wishes for a bright future; and, be it
 further
 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
 prepared for Mr. Pippen as an expression of high regard by the Texas
 House of Representatives.
