| 5 | 5 | | WHEREAS, Family and friends were deeply saddened by the |
|---|
| 6 | 6 | | untimely passing of Lydia Wilson Musgrave of Cedar Park, who died on |
|---|
| 7 | 7 | | January 14, 2008, at the age of 44; and |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | WHEREAS, Ms. Musgrave was a longtime, dedicated employee of |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | the Texas Board of Law Examiners; joining the agency in October |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | 1986, she served a notable 21-year tenure that included work as a |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | receptionist, licensure analyst, and executive assistant; and |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | WHEREAS, She ably handled a number of responsibilities |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | associated with more than 40 Texas bar examinations and over 50,000 |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | Texas law license applicants; she also created and updated many of |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | the board's online forms, filing tools, rulebooks, and other |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | important documents; and |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | WHEREAS, In addition to her career with the state, Ms. |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | Musgrave was a talented writer and editor; she was known by many for |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | her generosity of spirit and earned several awards from the State |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | Employee Charitable Campaign for distinguished service during |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | annual fund drives; and |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | WHEREAS, A loving wife and daughter, Lydia Musgrave is deeply |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | missed, but the memory of her courage, her warmth, and her |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | indomitable spirit continues to be treasured by all who knew her; |
|---|
| 25 | 25 | | now, therefore, be it |
|---|
| 26 | 26 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas |
|---|
| 27 | 27 | | Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of Lydia Wilson Musgrave |
|---|
| 28 | 28 | | and extend deepest sympathy to the members of her family: to her |
|---|
| 29 | 29 | | husband, Val Musgrave; to her mother, Paula Welch; and to her other |
|---|
| 30 | 30 | | relatives and many friends; and, be it further |

| 31 | 31 | | RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |

| 32 | 32 | | prepared for her family and that when the Texas House of |
|---|
