H.R. No. 1212
R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Outstanding students with the Texas Home School
Coalition have gone above and beyond the basic requirements in
learning about their state government by completing an in-depth
study of Texas government called the Good Citizen Pack; and
WHEREAS, It is important for all residents of the Lone Star
State to have an understanding of the governmental process so that
they may be more involved and better fulfill their civic duties; and
WHEREAS, Equipped with a comprehensive knowledge of state
government, these notable young Texans have completed a course of
study that will enable them to become more effective citizens; now,
therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas
Legislature hereby commend the Texas Home School Coalition students
who completed the Good Citizen Pack and extend to them sincere best
wishes for continued success in all of their endeavors.
