| 5 | 5 | | WHEREAS, Loretta Class, a legislative assistant for |

| 6 | 6 | | Representative Frank Corte, is taking time from a busy legislative |

| 7 | 7 | | session to celebrate her 26th birthday on April 6, 2009; and |

| 8 | 8 | | WHEREAS, The daughter of Jim and Mary Esther Class and the |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | sister of Esther Class George, Ms. Class is a bona fide Aggie who |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | graduated from Texas A&M in 2006 with a degree in political science; |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | and |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | WHEREAS, Having learned about politics in theory at A&M, |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | Ms. Class is now getting a close-up view of politics in practice, as |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | a valued member of Representative Corte's staff since January of |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | this year; and |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | WHEREAS, Ms. Class is an active young woman who enjoys |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | traveling and running, energetic pastimes that also happen to |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | provide excellent training for that marathon obstacle course known |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | as the Texas legislative session; and |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | WHEREAS, She also brings to her job diligence, an easygoing |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | nature, and a stress-relieving wit, earning her the respect, |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | affection, and appreciative laughter of her coworkers; and |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | WHEREAS, Loretta Class has proven herself to be a young Texan |

| 24 | 24 | | of great ability and promise, and her winning combination of |
|---|
| 25 | 25 | | intelligence, energy, and good humor indeed bode well for her |
|---|
| 26 | 26 | | future; now, therefore, be it |

| 27 | 27 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas |

| 28 | 28 | | Legislature hereby congratulate Loretta Class on her 26th birthday |
