 R E S O L U T I O N
 WHEREAS, Family and friends are mourning the loss of Martha
 Lynn Korioth of Houston, who passed away on March 15, 2009, at the
 age of 67; and
 WHEREAS, A native of Longview, Martha Korioth was the
 daughter of Marcella Lockaby and Frank Hawkins; she worked with the
 Spring Branch Independent School District for three decades, and
 her career included a notable 25-year tenure as the executive
 assistant to the superintendent; and
 WHEREAS, A devoted wife and mother, this esteemed Texan led a
 caring and purposeful life, and she will forever hold a treasured
 place in the hearts of all those who shared in her love and
 friendship; now, therefore, be it
 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas
 Legislature hereby pay special tribute to the life of Martha Lynn
 Korioth and extend sincere sympathy to the members of her family: to
 her husband, Terry Korioth; to her sons, Cary, Jeff, and Kevin
 Korioth; to her daughters-in-law, Tricia and Renee Korioth; to her
 grandchildren, Krysten, Danielle, Kelsey, Alexis, Connor, and
 Carson; to her brother, Ken Hawkins; to her mother-in-law, Billie
 Lee Korioth; and to her other relatives and many friends; and, be it
 further
 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
 prepared for her family and that when the Texas House of
 Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of
 Martha Lynn Korioth.
