5	5	WHEREAS, Family and friends are mourning the loss of Martha
6	6	Lynn Korioth of Houston, who passed away on March 15, 2009, at the
7	7	age of 67; and
8	8	WHEREAS, A native of Longview, Martha Korioth was the
9	9	daughter of Marcella Lockaby and Frank Hawkins; she worked with the
10	10	Spring Branch Independent School District for three decades, and
11	11	her career included a notable 25-year tenure as the executive
12	12	assistant to the superintendent; and
13	13	WHEREAS, A devoted wife and mother, this esteemed Texan led a
14	14	caring and purposeful life, and she will forever hold a treasured
15	15	place in the hearts of all those who shared in her love and
16	16	friendship; now, therefore, be it
17	17	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas
18	18	Legislature hereby pay special tribute to the life of Martha Lynn
19	19	Korioth and extend sincere sympathy to the members of her family: to
20	20	her husband, Terry Korioth; to her sons, Cary, Jeff, and Kevin
21	21	Korioth; to her daughters-in-law, Tricia and Renee Korioth; to her
22	22	grandchildren, Krysten, Danielle, Kelsey, Alexis, Connor, and
23	23	Carson; to her brother, Ken Hawkins; to her mother-in-law, Billie
24	24	Lee Korioth; and to her other relatives and many friends; and, be it
25	25	further
26	26	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
27	27	prepared for her family and that when the Texas House of
28	28	Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of
29	29	Martha Lynn Korioth.
