 R E S O L U T I O N
 WHEREAS, Austin Browning of Scurry played a crucial role in
 saving the lives of at least four Texans; and
 WHEREAS, On July 18, 2007, Austin was at the scene of a
 terrible accident involving his younger brother, Hunter; the two
 boys were out on their family's ranch when the incident occurred,
 and Austin ran for a mile to get help; although Hunter passed away
 the following day, Austin's quick and decisive actions made it
 possible for several individuals in need to receive the gift of life
 through organ donation; and
 WHEREAS, More than 7,000 Texans are currently awaiting organ
 donations, and this number continues to grow daily; through his
 swift response on that tragic day, Austin Browning ensured that a
 number of people were provided the chance for renewed health and a
 brighter future; now, therefore, be it
 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas
 Legislature hereby honor Austin Browning for his heroism; and, be
 it further
 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
 prepared for Austin Browning as an expression of high regard by the
 Texas House of Representatives.
