H.R. No. 1341
R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Members of Bay Area Republican Women play an active
and vital role in their Gulf Coast community; and
WHEREAS, This notable group is an affiliate of the Texas
Federation of Republican Women, which boasts more than 10,000
members and 165 clubs throughout the state; and
WHEREAS, Members work diligently to advance the issues of
their party; their efforts have helped to ensure the election of
their candidates to numerous offices, and their accomplishments
have increased the political awareness and effectiveness of
countless women by persuading them that their participation in the
political process is vital; and
WHEREAS, The organization's leadership includes president
Gaye Neely Wylie, first vice president Debbie Lindemann, second
vice president Annette Dwyer, recording secretary Rae Sinor,
corresponding secretary Carole Perry, PAC treasurer Diane
Kerkhove, and immediate past president Debbie Guitian Roan; and
WHEREAS, Members of Bay Area Republican Women are making a
lasting difference through their grassroots political activism,
and they may take justifiable pride in their rich history of civic
engagement; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas
Legislature hereby honor Bay Area Republican Women for the
organization's many accomplishments and extend to its members
sincere best wishes for the future; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for the group as an expression of high regard by the Texas
House of Representatives.
