| 8 | 8 | | Team Competition held on March 7, 2009, in Orlando, Florida; and |

| 9 | 9 | | WHEREAS, The Highsteppers outperformed teams from 10 states |

| 10 | 10 | | to earn the title; the group received a standing ovation from the |

| 11 | 11 | | judges and the highest all-around score, the first perfect 100 in |

| 12 | 12 | | the company's contest history, and was named best in class and |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | category in prop, kick, and open routines; and |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | WHEREAS, The 2008-2009 team has been ably led by officers |

| 15 | 15 | | Kylie Phillips, Alicia Capps, Erin Talley, Sarah Amelunke, Kaileigh |

| 16 | 16 | | Kurtain, Shelby Fancher, Mary Pennington, Megan Senger, Lauren |

| 18 | 18 | | WHEREAS, The Woodlands High School Highsteppers have |

| 19 | 19 | | demonstrated great commitment, strength, and talent in their |
