| 5 | 5 | | WHEREAS, Jack Yarborough of Crowley has attained the rank of |

| 6 | 6 | | Eagle Scout, and this accomplishment truly merits special |

| 7 | 7 | | recognition; and |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | WHEREAS, Receiving the Eagle Scout badge is a significant |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | honor, bestowed on only a small fraction of those who enter the |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | scouting movement; Mr. Yarborough earned the requisite 21 merit |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | badges in the course of meeting the rank's demanding criteria; he |

| 12 | 12 | | also successfully completed an Eagle Scout project of benefit to |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | his community, in which he mapped graves in an unmarked cemetery so |

| 14 | 14 | | that visitors could more easily find their ancestors; and |

| 15 | 15 | | WHEREAS, The son of proud parents Beau and Eileen Yarborough, |

| 16 | 16 | | this fine young Texan has demonstrated outstanding leadership |

| 17 | 17 | | ability throughout his scouting career, winning the respect and |

| 18 | 18 | | admiration of his fellow scouts as he worked toward the highest rank |

| 19 | 19 | | that scouting offers; and |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | WHEREAS, Eagle Scout Yarborough's dedication to excellence |

| 21 | 21 | | and his perseverance in the pursuit of his goals have proven him |

| 22 | 22 | | worthy to stand among scouting's elite, and he may indeed reflect |

| 23 | 23 | | with pride on a job well done; now, therefore, be it |

| 24 | 24 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas |

| 25 | 25 | | Legislature hereby congratulate Jack Yarborough on achieving the |
