H.R. No. 1376
R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Eddy and Sheila Jones of Kennedale celebrated their
45th wedding anniversary on March 20, 2009, and they may indeed
reflect with joy on the rewarding relationship they have shared;
and
WHEREAS, The couple first met in 1962, at Jolly Time skating
rink in Fort Worth; since exchanging the vows of matrimony on that
special day in 1964, Mr. and Mrs. Jones have found in one another a
loving life partner; and
WHEREAS, They count among their blessings a fine family that
includes two children, Tammy and Eddie, and three grandchildren,
Stacy, Ashley, and Cody, with whom they share the many special
occasions of life; and
WHEREAS, While much has changed in the world over the last 45
years, this devoted husband and wife have remained constant in
their commitment to one another, and the strength of their love has
enabled them to meet life's challenges and opportunities with grace
and optimism; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate Eddy and Sheila Jones on the
occasion of their 45th wedding anniversary and extend to them
sincere best wishes for continued happiness; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Jones as an expression of high regard by
the Texas House of Representatives.
