| 5 | 5 | | WHEREAS, An inspiring couple whose lives have been enhanced |

| 6 | 6 | | by a great and enduring love, Paul and Gay Ingram of Big Sandy |

| 7 | 7 | | celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on March 30, 2008; and |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Ingram were joined in matrimony on that |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | special day in 1958, at a ceremony held at Zion Lutheran Church in |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | Dallas; through the years, they have been blessed with a treasured |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | family that includes two sons, David and his wife, Karla, and Robert |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | and his wife, Cassandra, and three granddaughters, Amanda, Ashley, |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | and Carlie; and |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | WHEREAS, Mr. Ingram is retired from Cherokee Steel |

| 15 | 15 | | Fabricators, where he served as chief draftsman for 25 years, while |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | Mrs. Ingram has been a dedicated homemaker and civic volunteer over |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | the course of the couple's marriage; and |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | WHEREAS, While much has changed in the world during the past |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | half-century, this devoted husband and wife have remained constant |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | in their commitment to one another, and the strength of their love |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | has enabled them to meet life's challenges and opportunities with |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | grace and optimism; now, therefore, be it |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | Legislature hereby congratulate Paul and Gay Ingram on the occasion |

| 25 | 25 | | of their 50th wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best |
