| 6 | 6 | | has made a positive difference in the Dallas Metroplex since April |

| 7 | 7 | | 1984 and is celebrating the 25th anniversary of its founding in |

| 8 | 8 | | 2009; and |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | WHEREAS, Through the years, these committed women have |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | distinguished themselves through their outstanding community |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | involvement; they donate food and money to needy families and pass |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | out toys to children in the South Dallas YMCA each year before |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | Christmas; and |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | WHEREAS, PACE members have also provided scholarships to |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | worthy high school seniors for more than two decades; and |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | WHEREAS, Members of the Professional Achievers for Community |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | Excellence look forward to continuing their tradition of generosity |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | and volunteerism for many years to come, and their notable efforts |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | are indeed deserving of special recognition; now, therefore, be it |

| 20 | 20 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas |

| 21 | 21 | | Legislature hereby recognize April 18, 2009, as Professional |

| 22 | 22 | | Achievers for Community Excellence Day and honor all those involved |
