H.R. No. 1612
R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, The Texas House of Representatives is proud to
recognize Tommy Takyi-Micah for his exemplary work as a legislative
assistant in the office of State Representative Jim Dunnam; and
WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Mr. Takyi-Micah has brought
an unsurpassed level of dedication, enthusiasm, and care to every
task he has carried out, from studying legislation and meeting with
constituents to maintaining necessary supplies for the office, and
he is indeed deserving of special recognition for his notable
efforts; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Takyi-Micah has made invaluable contributions
to the State of Texas as a legislative assistant, and
Representative Dunnam and his staff are sure that the Baylor
graduate will make an excellent first-grade teacher--or perhaps
even a public official--in the near future; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas
Legislature hereby commend Tommy Takyi-Micah for his service as a
legislative assistant and extend to him sincere best wishes for
continued success; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Mr. Takyi-Micah as an expression of high regard by the
Texas House of Representatives.
