 R E S O L U T I O N
 WHEREAS, An inspiring couple whose lives have been enhanced
 by a great and enduring love, James and Nancy Swor of Waco
 celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on July 18, 2007; and
 WHEREAS, Jim Swor and the former Nancy McCullough were united
 in matrimony in Big Spring on that special day in 1957, and through
 the years, they have nurtured a fulfilling marriage that has been
 made even richer with the addition of three children, Cindy
 McCollum and her husband, David, Donna Mozina and her husband,
 Bill, and Allen Swor and his wife, Carolyn; the couple have also
 shared in the joy of welcoming into their family six grandchildren,
 Christopher, Amber, Justin, Amanda, Andrew, and Sarah; and
 WHEREAS, Answering his nation's call to duty, Mr. Swor served
 in the U.S. Air Force for 20 years, and he worked in the aircraft
 maintenance and modification industry for 30 years; Mrs. Swor was
 employed as a bookkeeper for several companies, including Hicks
 Rubber Co., Centex Property Management, and the Texas Farm Bureau,
 before retiring in 2002; and
 WHEREAS, While innumerable changes have taken place in the
 world over the past half-century, this devoted husband and wife
 have remained constant in their commitment to one another, and the
 strength of their love has enabled them to meet life's challenges
 and opportunities with grace and optimism; now, therefore, be it
 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas
 Legislature hereby congratulate Jim and Nancy Swor on their 50th
 wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best wishes for
 continued happiness; and, be it further
 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
 prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Swor as an expression of high regard by
 the Texas House of Representatives.
