| 5 | 5 | | WHEREAS, An inspiring couple whose lives have been enhanced |

| 6 | 6 | | by a great and enduring love, Robert and Doris Bray of Woodway |

| 7 | 7 | | celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary on September 19, 2007; |

| 9 | 9 | | WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Bray were united in matrimony at the |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | South Bosque Church on that special day in 1952; through the years, |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | they have nurtured a loving family that has grown to include two |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | children, Robert and Nancy, as well as three grandchildren, April, |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | Robert, and Colleen, three great-grandchildren, Samantha, the late |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | Gabriel, and Mia, four step-grandchildren, and four |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | step-great-grandchildren; and |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | WHEREAS, Mr. Bray worked at General Tire and Mrs. Bray is |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | retired after nearly three decades with Midway School; the couple |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | are founding members of Woodway First United Methodist Church; and |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | WHEREAS, While much has changed in the world over the past six |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | decades, this devoted husband and wife have remained constant in |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | their commitment to one another, and the strength of their love has |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | enabled them to meet life's challenges and opportunities with grace |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | and optimism; now, therefore, be it |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas |
|---|
| 25 | 25 | | Legislature hereby congratulate Robert and Doris Bray on the joyous |

| 26 | 26 | | milestone of their 55th wedding anniversary and extend to them |

| 27 | 27 | | sincere best wishes for continued happiness; and, be it further |
