| 5 | 5 | | WHEREAS, Family and friends are mourning the loss of Ricardo |
|---|
| 6 | 6 | | Estrada of El Paso, who died on March 9, 2009, at the age of 62; and |
|---|
| 7 | 7 | | WHEREAS, Dicky Estrada was born on December 4, 1946, to Frank |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | and Alicia Estrada; he met his lifetime companion, Roberta, in high |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | school, and they were married three years after graduation; over |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | the course of their 40 years together, they were blessed with two |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | sons; and |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | WHEREAS, Mr. Estrada went to work at the age of 16, bagging |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | groceries at the S&S Store in Fabens and working as a delivery man |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | for Munier's Pharmacy; he later enjoyed a 40-year career with the |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | Clint Independent School District; along the way, he also answered |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | his nation's call to duty during the Vietnam War, serving in the |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | U.S. Air Force; and |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | WHEREAS, A kind and caring man, Dicky Estrada touched the |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | lives of many, and he will be forever remembered with admiration and |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | affection by all who knew and loved him; now, therefore, be it |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of Ricardo Estrada and |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | extend sincere condolences to the members of his family: to his |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | wife, Roberta Estrada; to his sons, Dominick E. Estrada and his |
|---|
| 25 | 25 | | wife, Saharon, and Patrick I. Estrada; to his siblings, Josephina, |
|---|
| 26 | 26 | | Mary, and Lucy Estrada, Frank Estrada III, Alicia Smith and her |
|---|
| 27 | 27 | | husband, Bob, and Rebecca Quinn and her husband, Bill; and to his |

| 28 | 28 | | other relatives and friends; and, be it further |
