| 5 | 5 | | WHEREAS, Family and friends of Alfredo Bruno Sepulveda were |

| 6 | 6 | | greatly saddened by his passing on September 28, 2007, at the age of |
|---|
| 7 | 7 | | 89; and |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | WHEREAS, Born on October 6, 1917, Mr. Sepulveda served his |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | country with distinction during World War II and was later employed |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | for 37 years as a civil servant; a man of many talents, he was an |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | inventor, a chemist, a carpenter, an electrician, and an artist, |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | and he was also a dedicated leader who shared his time with the |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | Society of St. Vincent de Paul and the Knights of Columbus; and |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | WHEREAS, After the passing of his first wife, Josephina |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | Sepulveda, Mr. Sepulveda was fortunate to find love again with Mary |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | Lozano Sepulveda, with whom he enjoyed a fulfilling marriage; |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | moreover, he took great pride in his 8 children, |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | 5 stepchildren, 32 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | 4 step-great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild; and |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | WHEREAS, Alfredo Sepulveda inspired others with his |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | kindness, generosity, and wisdom, and although he will be deeply |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | missed, memories of time spent in his company will be forever |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | treasured by all those who were privileged to know him; now, |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | therefore, be it |
|---|
| 25 | 25 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas |

| 26 | 26 | | Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of Alfredo Bruno |
|---|
| 27 | 27 | | Sepulveda and extend sincere sympathy to his loved ones; and, be it |

| 28 | 28 | | further |

| 29 | 29 | | RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |

| 31 | 31 | | Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Alfredo |
