44 R E S O L U T I O N
55 WHEREAS, State Representative Dr. Tara Rios Ybarra offered
66 some of the best and brightest young Texans an opportunity to learn
77 firsthand about the formulation of public policy and the
88 legislative process as interns in her office during the 81st
99 Legislative Session; and
1010 WHEREAS, The students selected to participate were: Lyric
1111 Olivarez of Round Rock, Ashley Vincent of The Woodlands, Brittanie
1212 Jones of Sharyland, Cristina Meza of Laredo, Tina Garza of Los
1313 Fresnos, Evelyn Castillo of McAllen, Elizabeth Coronado of
1414 Brownsville, and Saad Aldosari of Riyadh City, Riyadh, Saudi
1515 Arabia; representing a variety of backgrounds, they benefited the
1616 state with the diverse perspectives they brought to their work; and
1717 WHEREAS, During their tenure, these dedicated young leaders
1818 have assisted with developing legislation for House District 43, as
1919 well as numerous other tasks; in addition, they have enhanced their
2020 knowledge of the Lone Star State and gained invaluable work
2121 experience in the field of public service; and
2222 WHEREAS, These outstanding Texans have performed their
2323 duties with skill, professionalism, and dedication, and their
2424 efforts are greatly appreciated; now, therefore, be it
2525 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas
2626 Legislature hereby honor the legislative interns of State
2727 Representative Dr. Tara Rios Ybarra for their service and extend to
2828 them sincere best wishes for the future; and, be it further
2929 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
3030 prepared for the interns as an expression of high regard by the
3131 Texas House of Representatives.
