| 10 | 10 | | Christi, Ms. Ramirez received a gold medal for her combined lift of |

| 11 | 11 | | 675 pounds, distancing herself from her closest competitor by 25 |

| 12 | 12 | | pounds; and |

| 13 | 13 | | WHEREAS, This determined athlete received valuable guidance |

| 14 | 14 | | from Yolanda Gomez, coach of the PSJA powerlifting team, which has |

| 15 | 15 | | been in place for only two years; in winning the state crown, Ms. |

| 16 | 16 | | Ramirez has given a significant boost to the sport at her high |

| 17 | 17 | | school, and she may take justifiable pride in earning a place |

| 18 | 18 | | alongside the finest powerlifters in the Lone Star State; now, |

| 20 | 20 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas |
