| 5 | 5 | | WHEREAS, An inspiring couple whose lives have been enhanced |

| 6 | 6 | | by a great and enduring love, Dan and Helen Wiley of Temple |
|---|
| 7 | 7 | | celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on March 18, 2009; and |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | WHEREAS, Dan Wiley and the former Helen Seidl were united in |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | matrimony at Saint Theresa Catholic Church in Houston in 1949; |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | through the years, they have nurtured a fulfilling marriage that |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | has been made even richer with the addition of a daughter and her |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | husband, Danean and Dave Myers, and a grandson, Jason Hogan; and |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | WHEREAS, Mr. Wiley worked in the homebuilding business and |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | retired after 25 years; Mrs. Wiley is a homemaker; and |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | WHEREAS, While much has changed in the world over the past six |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | decades, this devoted husband and wife have remained constant in |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | their commitment to one another, and the strength of their love has |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | enabled them to meet life's challenges and opportunities with grace |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | and optimism; now, therefore, be it |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas |

| 21 | 21 | | Legislature hereby congratulate Dan and Helen Wiley on their 60th |

| 22 | 22 | | wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best wishes for |

| 23 | 23 | | continued happiness; and, be it further |
