| 5 | 5 | | WHEREAS, A 60th wedding anniversary marks a lifetime of love |

| 6 | 6 | | and shared experiences, and Leo and Rosalie Mynarcik of West |

| 7 | 7 | | celebrated this joyous milestone in their marriage on January 27, |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | 2008; and |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | WHEREAS, Leo Mynarcik and the former Rosalie Petter were |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | joined in matrimony on the bride's birthday in 1948 at the |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Abbott; through the |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | years, they have been blessed with a treasured family that includes |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | their children, George Mynarcik, Kathy Hons and her husband, Don, |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | and Tim Mynarcik and his wife, Linda; and |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | WHEREAS, Respected members of their community, the couple are |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | parishioners of St. Mary's Church of the Assumption in West; Mr. |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | Mynarcik served in Europe during World War II and worked for Ford |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | Motor Company and Ben E. Keith Distributing until his retirement in |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | 1982, after which he worked several years delivering for Pool Quip; |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | Mrs. Mynarcik made a career of raising her family for many years and |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | later worked for the Dallas Independent School District until |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | retiring in 1991; and |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Mynarcik have enjoyed six decades of |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | abiding love and affection for one another, and they are among an |
|---|
| 25 | 25 | | exceptional group of men and women who can claim such a lasting |
|---|
| 26 | 26 | | commitment; now, therefore, be it |
|---|
| 27 | 27 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas |

| 28 | 28 | | Legislature hereby congratulate Leo and Rosalie Mynarcik on their |

| 29 | 29 | | 60th wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best wishes for |
