| 5 | 5 | | WHEREAS, An inspiring couple whose lives have been enhanced |

| 6 | 6 | | by a great and enduring love, Billy and Bobbie Mills of Waco |
|---|
| 7 | 7 | | celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on January 10, 2008; and |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | WHEREAS, Billy Mills and the former Bobbie Jean Powers were |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | united in matrimony at Mart First Baptist Church on that special day |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | in 1948; they are the parents of four sons, Barry, Doug, Keith, and |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | the late Billy Jack Mills, and they have shared in the joy of |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | welcoming into their family 3 daughters-in-law, Robin Koehne, Robyn |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | Mills, and Janice Mills, as well as 9 grandchildren and 10 |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | great-grandchildren; and |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | WHEREAS, Mr. Mills retired after nearly four decades of |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | dedicated service with Central Freight Lines, and Mrs. Mills was |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | employed by H.E.B. for several years; and |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | WHEREAS, While much has changed in the world over the past |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | half-century, this devoted husband and wife have remained constant |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | in their commitment to one another, and the strength of their love |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | has enabled them to meet life's challenges and opportunities with |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | grace and optimism; now, therefore, be it |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | Legislature hereby congratulate Billy and Bobbie Mills on their |

| 25 | 25 | | 60th wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best wishes for |
