44 R E S O L U T I O N
55 WHEREAS, Words cannot adequately express the sorrow felt at
66 the untimely death of Tori Danielle Gordon of Robinson, who passed
77 away on April 14, 2009, at the age of 16; and
88 WHEREAS, Born on May 27, 1992, Tori Dee Gordon attended
99 Robinson High School, where she was a junior and a devoted member of
1010 the choir; she would often sing at weddings and special occasions,
1111 and with her bright smile and beautiful voice she brought joy into
1212 the lives of countless individuals; and
1313 WHEREAS, Ms. Gordon took great pleasure in spending time with
1414 her younger brothers, Tyler and Gage, her boyfriend, Anthony
1515 Morris, and her cherished family members and friends, and she
1616 impressed others with her kindness, enthusiasm, and strength; and
1717 WHEREAS, Although her life ended far too soon, Tori Dee
1818 Gordon will forever hold a treasured place in the hearts of all
1919 those who were privileged to share in her love and friendship; now,
2020 therefore, be it
2121 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas
2222 Legislature hereby pay tribute to the memory of Tori Danielle
2323 Gordon and extend sincere sympathy to the members of her family: to
2424 her mother and stepfather, DeDe and Gary Hoffman; to her father and
2525 stepmother, Marc and Lisa Gordon; to her brothers, Tyler and Gage;
2626 to her grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins; and to her other
2727 relatives and many friends, including the Gomez and Guerra families
2828 and Anthony Morris; and, be it further
2929 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
3030 prepared for her family and that when the Texas House of
3131 Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Tori
3232 Danielle Gordon.
