44 R E S O L U T I O N
55 WHEREAS, Marcus Zinecker of Boy Scouts of America Troop No.
66 421 in Arlington has attained the rank of Eagle Scout, and this
77 accomplishment truly merits special recognition; and
88 WHEREAS, Receiving the Eagle Scout badge is a significant
99 honor, bestowed on only a small fraction of those who enter the
1010 scouting movement; in the course of meeting the rank's demanding
1111 criteria, Mr. Zinecker earned the requisite 21 merit badges and,
1212 for his Eagle Scout project, constructed a prayer garden at Advent
1313 Lutheran Church; and
1414 WHEREAS, This fine young Texan has demonstrated outstanding
1515 leadership ability throughout his scouting career, winning the
1616 respect and admiration of his fellow scouts as he worked toward the
1717 highest rank that scouting offers; and
1818 WHEREAS, Eagle Scout Zinecker's dedication to excellence and
1919 his perseverance in the pursuit of his goals have proven him worthy
2020 to stand among scouting's elite, and he may indeed reflect with
2121 pride on a job well done; now, therefore, be it
2222 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas
2323 Legislature hereby congratulate Marcus Zinecker on achieving the
2424 rank of Eagle Scout and extend to him sincere best wishes for
2525 continued success; and, be it further
2626 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
2727 prepared for Eagle Scout Zinecker as an expression of high regard by
2828 the Texas House of Representatives.
