| 5 | 5 | | WHEREAS, Don and Jeanette Markum of Waco celebrated their |

| 6 | 6 | | 50th wedding anniversary on April 25, 2008, and they may indeed |

| 7 | 7 | | reflect with joy on the rewarding relationship they have shared; |

| 8 | 8 | | and |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Markum exchanged the vows of matrimony |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | on that special day in 1958, and over the course of their marriage, |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | they have found in one another a loving life partner; and |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | WHEREAS, Respected members of Meadowbrook Baptist Church, |

| 13 | 13 | | Mr. and Mrs. Markum count among their blessings a fine family that |

| 14 | 14 | | includes two children, Dean and Doug, and three grandchildren, with |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | whom they share the many special occasions of life; and |

| 16 | 16 | | WHEREAS, For half a century, Don and Jeanette Markum have |

| 17 | 17 | | brought to their marriage laughter, kindness, and devotion, and it |

| 18 | 18 | | is a pleasure to honor them for their enduring commitment; now, |
