| 5 | 5 | | WHEREAS, Robert and Barbara Szanto of McLennan County |

| 6 | 6 | | celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on November 16, 2007, and |

| 7 | 7 | | they may indeed reflect with joy on the rewarding relationship they |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | have shared; and |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | WHEREAS, Bob Szanto and the former Barbara Weaver exchanged |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | the vows of matrimony in Waco on that special day in 1957, and over |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | the course of their marriage, they have found in one another a |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | loving life partner; and |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | WHEREAS, The couple count among their blessings a fine family |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | that includes their daughter, Denise, their son-in-law, Dean, their |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | grandchildren, Ashley and Adrian, and their great-granddaughter, |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | Kinsey; and |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | WHEREAS, Residents of the Chalk Bluff community since 1960, |

| 18 | 18 | | Mr. Szanto is retired from the U.S. Department of Agriculture and |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | Mrs. Szanto from Texas Gold Gift Center; and |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | WHEREAS, For half a century, Robert and Barbara Szanto have |

| 21 | 21 | | brought to their marriage laughter, kindness, and devotion, and it |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | is a pleasure to honor them for their enduring commitment; now, |

| 23 | 23 | | therefore, be it |

| 24 | 24 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas |

| 25 | 25 | | Legislature hereby congratulate Robert and Barbara Szanto on their |
