44 R E S O L U T I O N
55 WHEREAS, Patrick and Patricia Stroman celebrated their 50th
66 wedding anniversary on February 15, 2008, and they may indeed
77 reflect with joy on the rewarding relationship they have shared;
88 and
99 WHEREAS, Patrick Stroman and the former Patricia Ann
1010 Hutcherson exchanged the vows of matrimony at First Baptist Church
1111 in Lubbock in 1958, and over the course of their marriage, they have
1212 found in one another a loving life partner; and
1313 WHEREAS, Mr. Stroman is retired from pharmaceutical sales and
1414 enjoys working on his family farm in Sweetwater, and Mrs. Stroman
1515 retired as secretary to the United Methodist district office; the
1616 couple are active members at Central United Methodist Church; and
1717 WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Stroman count among their blessings a
1818 fine family that includes three daughters, Johanna Nystrom, Cheryl
1919 Martin, and Stacy Erb, as well as seven grandchildren, Ryan,
2020 Whitney, Bobby, Patrick, Marissa, Drew, and Jake, with whom they
2121 share the many special occasions of life; and
2222 WHEREAS, For half a century, Patrick and Patricia Stroman
2323 have brought to their marriage laughter, kindness, and devotion,
2424 and it is a pleasure to honor them for their enduring commitment;
2525 now, therefore, be it
2626 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas
2727 Legislature hereby congratulate Patrick and Patricia Stroman on
2828 their 50th wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best
2929 wishes for continued happiness; and, be it further
3030 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
3131 prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Stroman as an expression of high regard by
3232 the Texas House of Representatives.
