| 5 | 5 | | WHEREAS, A 50th wedding anniversary marks a lifetime of love |

| 6 | 6 | | and shared experiences, and Joe and Linda Gough celebrated this |

| 7 | 7 | | joyous milestone in their marriage on June 29, 2008; and |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | WHEREAS, Joe Gough and the former Linda Corroone were joined |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | in matrimony in 1958 at St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | in Waco; through the years, they have been blessed with a treasured |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | family that includes their children, Robert Gough and his wife, |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | Diane, Richard Gough and his wife, Cindy, and Teresa Raney and her |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | husband, Dalton, as well as 13 grandchildren, Ryan, Riley, Ricky, |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | Ansley, Austin, Aubrie, Scott, Shane, Kristi, Randall, Clint, |

| 15 | 15 | | Collin, and Casie; and |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | WHEREAS, Respected members of their community, Mr. Gough |

| 17 | 17 | | worked in Waco ISD for 38 years and retired as principal of St. |

| 18 | 18 | | Mary's School in West, and Mrs. Gough devoted her time to raising |

| 19 | 19 | | her family while her children were young and is a retired |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | schoolteacher; the couple are valued members of St. Jerome Catholic |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | Church, and Mr. Gough serves as an officer of Waco-McLennan County |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | Retired Teachers Association and a member of the Knights of |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | Columbus; and |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Gough have enjoyed five decades of |

| 25 | 25 | | abiding love and affection for one another, and they are among an |
|---|
| 26 | 26 | | exceptional group of men and women who can claim such a lasting |

| 27 | 27 | | commitment; now, therefore, be it |

| 28 | 28 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas |
