| 5 | 5 | | WHEREAS, Memories of a life filled with many joyful times and |

| 6 | 6 | | meaningful accomplishments may comfort the family and friends of |

| 7 | 7 | | Deby Lang of Kerrville, who died on April 20, 2009; and |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | WHEREAS, Mrs. Lang was born in Beeville on March 6, 1957, to |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | Gordon Alan Robbins and Virgie V. Welch; she married James Birt Lang |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | in 1976, and they were blessed with two children; and |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | WHEREAS, A probate officer for Kerr County, Mrs. Lang was |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | actively engaged in her community; she was a proud member of the |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | Daughters of the Republic of Texas and Republican Women of Kerr |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | County; she helped with the war memorial at the Kerr County |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | Courthouse, and she was a Knights Lady with Chapter 23 of the Blue |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | Knights of Texas law enforcement motorcycle club; and |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | WHEREAS, Deby Lang was a devoted wife, mother, and |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | grandmother, and those who shared in the warmth of her love will |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | always be deeply grateful for the time their lives intertwined with |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | hers; now, therefore, be it |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of Deby Lang and extend |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | sincere condolences to the members of her family: to her husband, |

| 24 | 24 | | James B. Lang; to her son, James W. Lang, and his wife, Cheryl; to |

| 25 | 25 | | her daughter, Shawn D. Lang; to her sisters, Tinna Miller and her |
