| 5 | 5 | | WHEREAS, A 50th wedding anniversary marks a lifetime of love |

| 6 | 6 | | and shared experiences, and MaryAnna and Elmer Brimberry of Midland |

| 7 | 7 | | celebrated this joyous milestone in their marriage on February 26, |

| 8 | 8 | | 2009; and |

| 9 | 9 | | WHEREAS, Elmer Brimberry and the former MaryAnna Price were |

| 10 | 10 | | joined in matrimony in 1959 in Roswell, New Mexico; through the |

| 11 | 11 | | years, they have been blessed with a treasured family that includes |

| 12 | 12 | | three children, Nancy Swallow, Lynda Donnet, and David Brimberry, |

| 13 | 13 | | and five grandchildren; and |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | WHEREAS, Longtime residents of the Lone Star State, Mr. |

| 15 | 15 | | Brimberry is retired from Marathon Oil and Mrs. Brimberry works in |

| 16 | 16 | | the natural gas industry; and |

| 17 | 17 | | WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Brimberry have enjoyed five decades of |

| 18 | 18 | | abiding love and affection for one another, and they are among an |

| 19 | 19 | | exceptional group of men and women who can claim such a lasting |

| 20 | 20 | | commitment; now, therefore, be it |

| 21 | 21 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas |
