| 5 | 5 | | WHEREAS, Sixteen members of Boy Scouts of America Troop No. |

| 6 | 6 | | 399 in Austin have attained the rank of Eagle Scout, and this |

| 7 | 7 | | accomplishment truly merits special recognition; and |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | WHEREAS, Receiving the Eagle Scout badge is a significant |

| 9 | 9 | | honor, bestowed on only a small fraction of those who enter the |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | scouting movement; in the course of meeting the rank's demanding |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | criteria, these notable young Texans earned the requisite 21 merit |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | badges and successfully completed Eagle Scout projects of benefit |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | to their community, contributing to an area fire station, school, |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | and church; and |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | WHEREAS, The new Eagle Scouts of Troop No. 399 are: Andrew |

| 16 | 16 | | Wiewel, James Thompson III, Bennett Nadeau, Peter Teneriello, |

| 17 | 17 | | Stephen King, Eli Mendoza, Andrew Marshall, Wilson Bauer, Benjamin |

| 18 | 18 | | Lowry, Jonathan Box, Roy Reyna, Samuel Faries, Travis Owens, Andrew |

| 19 | 19 | | Klitch, Santiago Dietche, and Cornelius Donovan II; and |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | WHEREAS, The dedication to excellence and the perseverance in |

| 21 | 21 | | the pursuit of their goals that these young men have demonstrated |

| 22 | 22 | | have proven them worthy to stand among scouting's elite, and it is |

| 23 | 23 | | most appropriate that they be honored at this time; now, therefore, |

| 25 | 25 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas |
