R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Citizens of Carrollton have greatly benefited from
the dedicated leadership of Tim Hayden, who will complete his term
on the city council in May 2009; and
WHEREAS, During his tenure in municipal government,
Councilman Hayden has ably guided the city with an eye to the
future, and his expertise in a range of community issues has earned
him widespread respect; and
WHEREAS, A resident of Carrollton for 12 years, Councilman
Hayden has further given back to his community through his
contributions to Regional Emergency Management, the Planning
Council of the North Central Texas Council of Governments, the
Audit and Finance Committee, and the Metrocrest Hospital Authority,
which he has served as a liaison; and
WHEREAS, Each day, public servants improve the quality of
life for their fellow citizens in innumerable ways, and the efforts
of Tim Hayden have helped to make Carrollton a better place in which
to live and work; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas
Legislature hereby honor Tim Hayden for his committed public
service and extend to him sincere best wishes for continued
success; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Councilman Hayden as an expression of high regard by
the Texas House of Representatives.
