| 5 | 5 | | WHEREAS, Tracy Anderson was recognized for her outstanding |

| 6 | 6 | | academic achievements at the Awards of Excellence Dinner hosted by |

| 7 | 7 | | the Hurst-Euless-Bedford Education Foundation on March 12, 2009; |

|---|
| 9 | 9 | | WHEREAS, This annual event pays tribute to exemplary high |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | school seniors in the Hurst-Euless-Bedford Independent School |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | District and reflects the strong support that the community |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | provides to public education; local business and civic leaders |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | sponsor each of the honorees, and each student, in turn, |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | acknowledges a faculty mentor who has been instrumental in the |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | student's endeavors; and |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | WHEREAS, A member of the Class of 2009 at KEYS High School, |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | Tracy Anderson received an Award of Excellence that acknowledged |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | her as Student of the Year, and she was presented with a medal that |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | will serve as an enduring symbol of her accomplishments; and |

| 20 | 20 | | WHEREAS, By demonstrating admirable determination and by |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | taking full advantage of the caring support provided by her |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | school's educators, Tracy Anderson has built a strong foundation |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | for future success, and she may take justifiable pride in a job well |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | done as she looks forward to the challenges and opportunities that |
|---|
| 25 | 25 | | lie ahead; now, therefore, be it |
|---|
| 26 | 26 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas |

| 27 | 27 | | Legislature hereby congratulate Tracy Anderson on her selection as |

| 28 | 28 | | the 2009 Student of the Year by the Hurst-Euless-Bedford Education |
