| 5 | 5 | | WHEREAS, Words cannot express the heartache felt at the loss |

| 6 | 6 | | of U.S. Army Captain Rowdy J. Inman of Panorama Village, who died in |

| 7 | 7 | | Iraq on December 26, 2007, at the age of 38; and |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | WHEREAS, Assigned to the 3rd Squadron, 3rd Armored Cavalry |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | Regiment at Fort Hood, Captain Inman had dedicated his career to the |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | military, and his courageous actions had earned him the Bronze Star |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | Medal; and |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | WHEREAS, Devoted to his family, he was a loving husband to his |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | wife, Shannon, and caring father to his children, Keeley, Casey, |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | and Gary; and |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | WHEREAS, Time can never diminish the profound debt that |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | Americans owe to Rowdy Inman for the service he undertook and the |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | sacrifice he rendered, and the thoughts and prayers of many go out |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | to the family of this beloved Texan; he was a soldier of honor and |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | valor, and those who were privileged to know him will forever carry |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | him close in their hearts; now, therefore, be it |

| 21 | 21 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas |

| 22 | 22 | | Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of U.S. Army Captain |

| 23 | 23 | | Rowdy J. Inman and extend sincere sympathy to the members of his |

| 24 | 24 | | family: to his wife, Shannon; to his children, Keeley, Casey, and |
