44 R E S O L U T I O N
55 WHEREAS, Words cannot express the heartache felt at the loss
66 of U.S. Army Captain Rowdy J. Inman of Panorama Village, who died in
77 Iraq on December 26, 2007, at the age of 38; and
88 WHEREAS, Assigned to the 3rd Squadron, 3rd Armored Cavalry
99 Regiment at Fort Hood, Captain Inman had dedicated his career to the
1010 military, and his courageous actions had earned him the Bronze Star
1111 Medal; and
1212 WHEREAS, Devoted to his family, he was a loving husband to his
1313 wife, Shannon, and caring father to his children, Keeley, Casey,
1414 and Gary; and
1515 WHEREAS, Time can never diminish the profound debt that
1616 Americans owe to Rowdy Inman for the service he undertook and the
1717 sacrifice he rendered, and the thoughts and prayers of many go out
1818 to the family of this beloved Texan; he was a soldier of honor and
1919 valor, and those who were privileged to know him will forever carry
2020 him close in their hearts; now, therefore, be it
2121 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas
2222 Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of U.S. Army Captain
2323 Rowdy J. Inman and extend sincere sympathy to the members of his
2424 family: to his wife, Shannon; to his children, Keeley, Casey, and
2525 Gary; and to his other relatives and many friends; and, be it
2626 further
2727 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
2828 prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of
2929 Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of U.S. Army
3030 Captain Rowdy J. Inman.
