 R E S O L U T I O N
 WHEREAS, Christian Schooler was recognized for his
 outstanding academic achievements at the Awards of Excellence
 Dinner hosted by the Hurst-Euless-Bedford Education Foundation on
 March 12, 2009; and
 WHEREAS, This annual event pays tribute to exemplary high
 school seniors in the Hurst-Euless-Bedford Independent School
 District and reflects the strong support that the community
 provides to public education; local business and civic leaders
 sponsor each of the honorees, and each student, in turn,
 acknowledges a faculty mentor who has been instrumental in the
 student's endeavors; and
 WHEREAS, A member of the Class of 2009 at L. D. Bell High
 School, Christian Schooler received an Award of Excellence that
 acknowledged his work in speech, and he was presented with a medal
 that will serve as an enduring symbol of his accomplishments; and
 WHEREAS, By demonstrating admirable determination and by
 taking full advantage of the caring support provided by his
 school's educators, Christian Schooler has built a strong
 foundation for future success, and he may take justifiable pride in
 a job well done as he looks forward to the challenges and
 opportunities that lie ahead; now, therefore, be it
 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas
 Legislature hereby congratulate Christian Schooler on his receipt
 of a 2009 Award of Excellence from the Hurst-Euless-Bedford
 Education Foundation and extend to him sincere best wishes for
 continued achievement; and, be it further
 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
 prepared for Mr. Schooler as an expression of high regard by the
 Texas House of Representatives.
