R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Michael Holland can take well-deserved pride in the
outstanding service he has rendered to the residents of his
community during his decade-long tenure as superintendent of the
Magnolia Independent School District; and
WHEREAS, This esteemed Texan has worked tirelessly to ensure
for pupils in his district the best possible instruction and
resources; in striving to promote student achievement and to
advance the quality of the district's schools, he has sought to
enlist the community's support and to collaborate effectively with
his local school board; and
WHEREAS, Through his unwavering commitment to his district's
students and staff, Michael Holland has led the way in fostering a
supportive and challenging educational environment, one that gives
students a vision of what can be attained by striving for success
and that equips them with skills that will help them to build
fulfilling and productive lives; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas
Legislature hereby honor Superintendent Michael Holland of the
Magnolia Independent School District for his admirable service to
his fellow citizens and extend to him sincere best wishes for
continued success; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Superintendent Holland as an expression of high regard
by the Texas House of Representatives.
