5	5	WHEREAS, Michael Holland can take well-deserved pride in the
6	6	outstanding service he has rendered to the residents of his
7	7	community during his decade-long tenure as superintendent of the
8	8	Magnolia Independent School District; and
9	9	WHEREAS, This esteemed Texan has worked tirelessly to ensure
10	10	for pupils in his district the best possible instruction and
11	11	resources; in striving to promote student achievement and to
12	12	advance the quality of the district's schools, he has sought to
13	13	enlist the community's support and to collaborate effectively with
14	14	his local school board; and
15	15	WHEREAS, Through his unwavering commitment to his district's
16	16	students and staff, Michael Holland has led the way in fostering a
17	17	supportive and challenging educational environment, one that gives
18	18	students a vision of what can be attained by striving for success
19	19	and that equips them with skills that will help them to build
20	20	fulfilling and productive lives; now, therefore, be it
21	21	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas
22	22	Legislature hereby honor Superintendent Michael Holland of the
23	23	Magnolia Independent School District for his admirable service to
24	24	his fellow citizens and extend to him sincere best wishes for
25	25	continued success; and, be it further
26	26	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
27	27	prepared for Superintendent Holland as an expression of high regard
28	28	by the Texas House of Representatives.
