H.R. No. 2028
R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Jordan Daniel Marin, a student at South San Antonio
High School, has been selected for membership in the National
Society of High School Scholars; and
WHEREAS, An honor for top students achieving superior
academic excellence, NSHSS membership is granted to sophomores,
juniors, and seniors with a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or
higher; inductees are encouraged to apply their unique talents,
vision, and potential for the betterment of themselves and the
world; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Marin is now affiliated with a dynamic
international organization that connects members with meaningful
content and resources, provides a means to enhance demonstrated
skills, and opens opportunities for scholastic advancement,
academic competitions, publications, and participation in programs
offered by educational partners; and
WHEREAS, Jordan Daniel Marin's exemplary performance in the
classroom has brought well-deserved recognition for his personal
dedication to scholarship, and it is a pleasure to honor him on his
latest achievement; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas
Legislature hereby honor Jordan Daniel Marin on his induction into
the National Society of High School Scholars and extend to him
sincere best wishes for continued success; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Mr. Marin as an expression of high regard by the House
of Representatives.
