| 5 | 5 | | WHEREAS, Junior high and high school students from Greenville |

| 6 | 6 | | Christian School are visiting the State Capitol on May 14, 2009; and |

| 7 | 7 | | WHEREAS, These notable young Texans have excelled in a |

| 8 | 8 | | variety of extracurricular activities and have proven themselves |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | scholastically exceptional by inclusion on the A-B Honor Roll; and |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | WHEREAS, It is important for all citizens to have an |

| 11 | 11 | | understanding of the process of government so that they may be |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | involved and fulfill their duties as citizens; and |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | WHEREAS, The Texas Capitol is an ideal setting for students |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | to discover the rich heritage of the Lone Star State and to gain |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | insight into the workings of the state legislature, and it is a |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | pleasure to recognize the visiting members of the Greenville |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | Christian School community; now, therefore, be it |

| 18 | 18 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas |

| 19 | 19 | | Legislature hereby welcome the Greenville Christian School |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | students and commend them on their interest in state government; |
