5	5	WHEREAS, The 90th birthday of an esteemed Texan is truly
6	6	cause for celebration, and Helen Marie Davis of Terrell is
7	7	observing this noteworthy milestone in her life on February 12,
8	8	2009; and
9	9	WHEREAS, A native of the Lone Star State, Mrs. Davis was born
10	10	in Paris in 1919 and arrived in her adopted hometown of Terrell in
11	11	1950; she and her husband, W. A. Davis, owned a successful dry
12	12	cleaning company, Unique Cleaners, for nearly half a century; and
13	13	WHEREAS, Through the years, Mrs. Davis has been a source of
14	14	wisdom and joy to those around her, including her three children,
15	15	Ronnie, Barbara, and Billy; and
16	16	WHEREAS, A devoted wife and mother and a much-loved member of
17	17	her community, Helen Davis has earned a special place in the hearts
18	18	of all who are fortunate enough to know her; now, therefore, be it
19	19	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas
20	20	Legislature hereby congratulate Helen Marie Davis on the joyous
21	21	occasion of her 90th birthday and extend to her heartfelt best
22	22	wishes for continued happiness; and, be it further
23	23	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
24	24	prepared for Mrs. Davis as an expression of high regard by the Texas
25	25	House of Representatives.
