No. 2178 R E S O L U T I O N WHEREAS, Those young people who give of their time and talents to assist in the demanding work of the Texas Legislature are truly deserving of our gratitude and admiration, and Daniel Goldstein is one such individual; and WHEREAS, Originally from Houston, Mr. Goldstein served as a legislative intern in the office of State Representative Elliott Naishtat from January to May 2009, and his commitment, dedication, and cheerful disposition were much appreciated by his colleagues; and WHEREAS, Mr. Goldstein is a graduate of The University of Texas at Austin and the University of Houston Law Center, and his hands-on experience with the workings of state government will no doubt enrich and inform his future; and WHEREAS, Although his coworkers are sorry to see his tenure end, they share his excitement in a future that is bright with promise; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas Legislature hereby honor Daniel Goldstein for his service as a legislative intern with the Texas House of Representatives and extend to him sincere best wishes for continued success and happiness; and, be it further RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be prepared for Mr. Goldstein as an expression of high regard by the Texas House of Representatives.
